Acupuncture Care For Health
Since 1997, Dr. Mei K. Tsai has specialized in helping people new to acupuncture. She understand that many patients are reluctant about needles, so she is sensitive to address every concern.
During your first office visit, Dr. Mei will ask you about your health and lifestyle to get complete picture of your treatment needs. Because acupuncture can help with dozens of health conditions, it’s important that you let her know about all treatments or medications you are taking and any medical conditions you have. Initial consultation and first treatment usually takes 90 minutes. Follow up visits usually takes 60 minutes.
Dr. Mei has helped thousands of people who came to acupuncture as a last hope, only to wish they had come sooner. Even the most sensitive and skeptical patients appreciate the results, especially when they no longer need surgery or medication to live healthier, happier and pain-free lives.
Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and solid, unlike hollow medical syringes. A common terminology of this treatment method is called "dry needling". Although people experience acupuncture differently, most patients feel no or minimal pain. The treatment energizes some people and relaxes others.
Dr. Mei also incorporate needle-less meridian therapies into their treatment plans, including various forms of acupressure, ear seeds and magnetic therapies.
